I got a fair chunk of the way through my Java book and I thought, this doesn’t seem like it would be so hard to learn. Then I thought, if I’m aiming to learn C, should I really be learning a different language first to just discard, and maybe confuse the two along the way?

I believe in the ‘one golden shot’ and I’d like my shot to be at C.

So today, C it is. Here goes ‘C for Dummies’!

Did I mention how my I love the Dummies books? They’re cute, funny and interesting.. perfectly aimed at someone like me

Happy new year world!

My 2010 resolution is to publish an iPhone app at the App Store. Lucky I enjoy a challenge because I’ve never programmed anything before!

Google says I should start with Java, then C, then Objective C, then start exploring Apple’s development centre.

So today I paid my library fines and checked out Beginning Programming with Java for Dummies.

Now I’m great at starting projects but I rely on support and encouragement to keep me going.. that’s the reason behind this blog. I’m hoping I might pick up some mentors and kindred souls along the way. =)
